The Mim Tea Estate is located in Sukhiapokhri of Darjeeling district in Eastern India. The estate is a well known quality mark amongst discerning Darjeeling Tea drinkers of the world. The single blend of this estate when properly brewed yeilds thin bodied, light-orange coloured liquor with a floral delicate aroma. The flavour also displays a tinge of astringent tannic characteristic and a musky spiciness often referred to by tea connoisseurs as "muscatel". This estate conjures 'designer' single estate Darjeeling teas for the creme de la creme of the tea world.

After the sudden demise of the British estate manager, his wife took up the entire responsibility of managing the estate. The local people started referring to this estate as ‘Mem Kaman’ – the garden run by a ‘Mem’ (the local word for a British lady, widely popular during the colonial times). Mim, derived from ‘Mem’, today produces about 100 metric tons of teas annually, the major chunk of which is organic. The profiles of Mim teas are particularly unique because of the fact that 80% of the plantation comprise of China bushes.
